About the Opportunity
Forbes Shire Council is seeking a progressive Asset Engineer to lead the management of Councils assets through developing and implementing best practice asset management and maintenance management solutions for Councils infrastructure assets in accordance with Councils Asset Management Plans. This position is also suitable for a highly motivated, Graduate Engineer wishing to pursue a career in Local Government and Asset Management.
Other conditions and details relating to this position include:
- This position is graded within the Professional Specialist Band 3, Level 1 and 2 within the Local Government (State) Award 2017
- The Grade applicable to the position is Grade 14 to Grade 21 within Council's salary structure. Remuneration will be determined with the suitable applicant and will be dependent upon the level of skills and experience;
- The salary is between $1141.30 to $1758.90 (exclusive of Superannuation) per week based on a 35 hour / 9 day fortnight.
- An additional 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance may be applicable to the successful applicant;
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job;
